Enjoying The Sea Air On A Cruise Ship
My first experience on a cruise ship Vacation
When the opportunity was there, it's like a dream come true. This is my first experience on holiday by cruise. We chose the Legend of The Seas of Royal Caribbean International, which was very famous in the world.
Departing from the Harbour Front, Singapore. We will sail to just 3 countries namely Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. At 5.00 PM we were on board after inspection of documents and so forth.
We occupy a room or cabin on deck 2. Our Rooms are small but we are living adequate for 4 people with 4 beds (2 beds on the bottom and 2 again folded on the bed of another).
Long whistle sounded, all passengers must be gathered in the deck 5 to listen the direction from the crew about safety. Apparently hundreds of people from various countries w
e met there. Everyone seemed happy and excited.
Our journey begins from Harbour Front towards the open sea.
Our chambermaid named Rong Hua, very friendly to serve us. After clean up our room, we look around to see all the existing facilities on board.
Legend of the Seas consist of 11 decks with various facilities including:
Spa, Fitness center, Medical Center, Photo Gallery, Shops onboard, Sports Facilities (including Mini Golf Court, Table Tennis, Rock Climbing Wall, 2 Swimming Pools and Jacuzi, also Jogging Track), Amusement, Bar and Restaurant, Movie theatre, discotheque, and Casino.
Tonight we start with dinner at Romeo & Juliet's Restaurant. We still remember our waiter and waitress names, Myeong Park from South Korea and Kamal from India. They serve us very friendly, made us feel like someone special.
After dinner, we where shopping, relaxing in the recliner chair that is on deck 9 to enjoy the cool sea breeze while the ships still sailed to Malaysia.
We docked at Port Klang, Malaysia around 6:00 am. By taxi, we can take a trip to Kuala Lumpur or shopping at the nearest mall. In the afternoon we were back on board to continue the trip to Phuket Thailand.
At night you can enjoy dinner in the Windjammer Café or Restaurant Romeo & Juliet, enjoy a barbeque by the pool, or enjoy hot dogs, pizza and burgers in the Solarium on deck 9. Anyway, do not have to worry about your foods, you can enjoy all kinds of food for free for 24 hours. After dinner, you can enjoy the existing events on the ship. There are movie shows, cabaret, dancing or or get a fortune in the casino.
The next day we arrived in beautiful beach named Patong Bay in Phuket Thailand. Blue sea with the sea breeze makes us want to stay longer to enjoy the beautiful beach.
I'd love to swim in the beauti
ful beach but unfortunately our time is very limited. We joined the tour to several places in Phuket, saw the traditional dance performance, buy some traditional souvenirs and enjoy the view of Phuket from the hill.
In the evening we returned to the ship to sail back to Singapore. Still 2 nights we could enjoy the luxury facilities on Legend of The Seas. We make family photos at the studio, enjoyed the cabaret show, music, dancing and all the delicious food there. What a wonderful experience and unforgettable moment. You must try.

Oasis of the Seas, Feeling your Journey with Fully Sensation on the biggest Cruise Ship in the World

The SHIP has a deck of 16, the total height equal to 20 floor building. The length of the bow to the stern is end of the 360 meters. Inside was a golf course, plus four swimming pools.
Name of the ship, Oasis of the Seas, owned by Royal Caribbean International. On Friday (30/10/2009), It left the dock where made by the company shipbuilder STX Finland, in Turku, Finland. The ship was sailing through the prime to the base company in Port Everglades, Florida, USA. The ship had passed the first test on Saturday (31/10/2009) when passing under Bridge Great Belt Bridge in the Baltic Sea. After telescope fully lowered, the ship had passed under the bridge with interrupted leaving only two feet between the top ends of the ship with under the iron bridge. The scene was witnessed by thousands of people.
Created at a cost of about USD 15 million and worked for two and half years in Finland. Oasis of the Seas was recorded as a passenger ship largest in the world, will as famous as the legendary ship of Titanic. Inside is a 2700 cabin that can accommodate 6300 passengers plus 2100 crews.
The inside of the U-shaped ship that open middle section, which can be enjoyed from three sides.
In addition there are a number of sports facilities; there is also outdoor theater arena with a capacity of 750 seats in use at night similar to the ancient Greek theater arena. The bowl is using the swimming pool which is used on the day.
To make the passengers feel at home, there are entertainment facilities. There facilities such as shopping malls built in the city, theater in a room with a capacity of 1300 seats, large garden with various themes. One of these tropical themed is garden weeds and trees palm. Total will have approximately 12,000 trees planted on the ship.
Inside the ship there is a bar that moves up and down three floors. So, the passengers can enjoy the scenery outside in the three-deck and the open sea.
The passengers have a variety of room choices. Type luxury rooms size of 51 square meters with a full glass wall, while suite room area of 150 square meters equipped with balcony overlooking the sea and the view inside.
These ships will begin cruising through the first route on December 1, 2009 next to a four-day trip to Haiti. Charge began of approximately USD 12 million to USD 40 million per head. This ticket prices double the old ship's company also.
